Household help in the Lake Constance district, based in Kressbronn

The office for the Lake Constance district has its address at Maicher Straße 10 a, 88079 Kressbronn am Bodensee. Each of our everyday companions looks after a fixed set of clients near their own home. So the person who rings your doorbell usually comes from the area.

Advice for all our locations runs through one shared number: 07121 159 10 58, Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Don't be put off by the Reutlingen area code. Enquiries from the Lake Constance district are in the right place there, and you will then be supported by helpers from your area.

From Kressbronn to Uhldingen-Mühlhofen: the towns around the lake

We support seniors on the lakeshore and further inland: in Kressbronn am Bodensee, Friedrichshafen, Tettnang, Meckenbeuren and Uhldingen-Mühlhofen.

If you live in a smaller village, you may wonder whether anyone will come out that far. Just mention your town when you call, and we will tell you whether someone from our team nearby still has free slots.

Live by the lake and looking for meaningful work? Our everyday companion vacancies around Lake Constance might suit you.

What we do around the lake and who pays for it

We help where everyday life has become a struggle: with cleaning and laundry, shopping and cooking, errands or getting to an appointment. Our pages on household help for older people and care and everyday support explain this in more detail. If you have just had an operation, the health insurance fund (Krankenkasse) may cover household help after an operation. Mothers-to-be can turn to our household help during pregnancy.

For help around the house and companionship, the long term care fund (Pflegekasse) provides the relief allowance (Entlastungsbetrag) from care level (Pflegegrad) 1 upwards, currently 131 euros a month. Billing runs directly between us and your fund. We will tell you free of charge what else you may be entitled to, either by phone or after you send us a message through our contact form.

Frequently asked questions

Do you also offer household help in Uhldingen-Mühlhofen?

Yes, Uhldingen-Mühlhofen is one of the towns in the Lake Constance district where we support seniors. When you call, we will check whether a helper is free in your part of town right now. Advice is free of charge.

Do I have to come to the Kressbronn office for advice?

No. We sort out the essentials by phone first, and the assessment takes place in your own home. So there is no need to travel to Kressbronn or arrange a lift.

Can I get help around the lake for just a few weeks?

Yes, for example after an operation: the health insurance fund may then pay for household help for up to four weeks, and for up to 26 weeks when there is a child under twelve at home. Among other things, no one else living with you must be able to keep the household going, and without a child at home you must not have care level 2 to 5. You need a doctor's certificate and an application, and we help you fill it in.
